Happy Saturday, Vintage Dames and Dudes!
It's the weekend and that means it's time to kick back and enjoy some fun and recreation here on the blog. First things first... vintage shopping time.
As you may know by now, I am the British half of the Dames. Since about a third of our readers come my beloved rainy old Blighty and because we know how fantastic the vintage scene is in England, we've been keeping our eyes well peeled for summer events.
And boy, did we find a good one!
And boy, did we find a good one!
After running successful vintage fairs in Sheffield, they took it Nationwide and will now be hosting vintage fairs at over 20 major cities across England over the summer months.
Though they specialise in 40's-80's vintage goodies, over around 40 stalls, they also have handmade jewelry and clothing, artwork and crafts, cupcakes and retro sweets. There's even a vintage tea party, served from vintage china and of course... served alongside plenty of cake!
Aside from filling your tummy and your wardrobe, you can also get the full-on vintage vixen treatment, with their vintage hair and nail stations.
The next one is on 29th June in Kent. They've also got dates solidified in Sheffield, Shoreditch, Brighton, Chelmsford, Hull, I'll be in England until August and I'm definitely hoping to make it to one of their events... they look great!
